2010 320
The 2010 320 from BMW comes powered by 2.0 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine with an aluminum crankcase, lowered suspension and longer axle transmission ratio. Apart from the turbo charging engine with intake geometry, the new model will also be featured by piezo injectors associated by common rail direct fuel injection technology.
The engine in the 2010 320 model will deliver power up to 120 kilo watts at an angular speed of 4200 rpm and peak torque of 360 Nm at an angular speed of 3000 rpm. The new feature to be included in the model, brake energy regeneration technology, which saves the fuel consumption when brakes are applied to stop the car, will be the key to the model. The gear shift indicator will allow the driver to change gears automatically.
The electronic power steering will improve the fuel efficiency in the vehicle. The other features that will help in the efficient usage of fuel include alloy wheels with energy saver tyres, and start and stop function. With the powerful engine, the new model can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a time span of just 8.2 seconds. The expected top speed to be achieved by the model will be 137 miles per hour.
As far as the interior region of the vehicle is concerned, the 2010 320 model will be featured with the interiors like extended lighting, multi function leather steering wheel, two zone air conditioning and rear park distance control. The new model will be launched in the first quarter of 2010.
