2010 6 Series
The next generation 6-series coupe from the BMW would not be available in the market until the final quarter of 2010. However, the new design is expected to be increased in size and will also feature a sportier design.
According to the sources from BMW it is expected that the next generation 2010 6 series will be offered in two different versions, namely the sports model and the luxurious GT version. The engine to the new model is supposed to be the same V-10 engine with dual clutch transmission.
It is expected that the sales of the 2010 6 series will increase when compared with the current generation models. The rumour going around is that the new model will be offered in three different engine choices- 306, 507 and 408 horse power and will be mated to 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
The new 2010 6 Series luxury model will be provided with all the luxury amenities that include air conditioning, navigation system, entertainment system, leather upholstery and more.
Apart from the luxury features, the 2010 6 Series model will be equipped with all the safety features needed for a sports car. The next generation model is still under the production with the code name F13 and the model is expected to hit the market by the end of 2010 or by the early season of 2011. The new model will be offered with more leg room for the passengers at the rear seat.
