The 2010 612 from the Ferrari house will be powered by the new V-12 engine that produces more power at low angular speeds. The next generation model will see major changes at the front side mostly. The 2010 612 model will be a two door luxury sports car that can accommodate up to four passengers and this model will be offered in only one trim level.

The engine to be deployed in the next generation model will be the 6.0 liter DOHC 12 cylinder engine. This engine will reduce the carbon emissions by 40 percent in comparison to the current generation 612 model. The V12 engine is expected to produce power up to 612 hp, where as the current model delivers only 533 hp. The powerful engine to be equipped in the 2010 612 model is expected to achieve the fuel economy of 9 miles per gallon in the city streets, while 16 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

The maximum power delivered by the model is expected to be 612 hp at an angular speed of 7250 rpm and torque of 434 lb ft at an angular speed of 5250 rpm. The new variant will be featured with all the basic amenities needed for a luxury sports car, such as air conditioning, navigation system, disc brakes, entertainment system, and leather upholstery.

Apart from the luxury features, the 2010 612 model will be equipped with all the safety features like ABS, ESP, curtain side air bags, front side air bags and antiskid system.
