2010 7 Series
The new 2010 7 Series model from the automobile giant, BMW will be offered in two different versions- high security 760Li and the 750Li. The new model will gain the all wheel drive, an electric/gas hybrid version and fresh styles.
Engine
The new features to be included in the 2010 7 Series will be the AWD 750i xDrive and the 750Li xDrive. The L versions of the 7 series will have a longer wheel base in comparison to I version models. All the 750i models will be powered by 4.4 liter twin turbo charged V-8 engine that produces power up to 400 hp and the engine will be mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission.
The hybrid models will be powered by 4.4 liter V8 engine with an electric motor that can produce power up to 455 hp in total. The engine in the hybrid version will also be paired to 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2010 760Li model will be powered by 6.0 liter V-12 engine that produces power up to 544 hp and the engine will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The safety features that are expected to be provided in the 2010 7 Series model include curtain side air bags, ABS, knee air bags, traction control, front and rear side air bags and antiskid system. The BMW’s Dynamic Driving Control is expected to be provided as standard on both the models. Apart from this, the wireless cell phone link and the navigation system should remain as standard.
