The new Continental GT model from the house of Bentley is expected to be unveiled by the end of this year. The Continental GT model has helped Bentley to become leader in selling the ultra luxury-class vehicles. The 2010 Continental GT coupe comes with brand new design styles and innovative features.

The sales of the coupe model will begin from the first quarter of 2010. The Continental GT coupe comes powered by the 6.0 liter W12 engine that produces power of around 560 hp. The new version is expected to come with only the small changes such as the wheel designs and new bumpers.

The base model of 2010 Continental GT will be offered in two types of engines – the 6.0 liter W-12 that produces 560 hp and 6.0 liter W12 engine that delivers 600 hp. With the help of the powerful engine, the car gives fuel economy of 10 miles per gallon in the city streets, while it delivers 17 miles per gallon on the highway roads.


The coupe will come mated with the six-speed automatic transmission along with the overdrive and it will also be offered with manual transmission. The GT will be featured with an all wheel drive and it is expected to attain the maximum speed of up to 180 miles per hour.

The power to the vehicle will be translated through a fully electronic control 6-speed automatic gearbox and paddle operation. The 2010 Continental GT model will be offered in two different trim levels – the Continental GT and the Continental GT Speed. The base model of Continental GT comes with the powerful 6.0 liter engine, while the Continental GT Speed variant comes with the 6.2 liter engine that produces 600 horse power of energy.

The Continental GT coupe model comes with the safety features like four wheel Anti lock brake system and four disc brakes and it comes mated with the six-speed automatic transmission system.

The other features in the vehicle include -

• Vehicle speed proportional power steering
• Advanced passenger and driver door mirror
• Air conditioning with four zone climate controls
• Rear and front power mirrors
• Card key power locks
• 6-Disc CD changer with 8 speakers


It comes with the capacity to accommodate up to four passengers. The 2010 Continental GT Speed model comes powered by the new 6.0 liter engine that produces up to 600 hp at the rate of 6000 rotations per minute.

The model achieves an average fuel economy of 11.6 liter per 100 kilo meters on highway, while it achieves 20.4 liter per 100 kilo meters on city roads. The standard safety features like the four-wheel anti-lock braking system and the four wheel disc brakes are also provided.

The GT model comes mated with the 6-speed automatic transmission. The other features in the vehicle include FM/AM, 6-disc CD changer in glove box for 6 discs, sound system with eight speakers, vehicle speed proportional power steering, passenger and driver door mirror, power windows with 2 express and climate control system.
