The 2010 Charger is expected to come in great style, and latest designs and the powerful 5.7 litre V8 engine that gives fuel economy of 22 miles per gallon on the highway roads and 15 miles per gallon in the city streets.

The Dodge Charger will be offered in four different trim levels – the Charger RT Sedan, SE Sedan, SRT8 Sedan and SXT Sedan. The 5.7 liter engines comes with the stroke dimensions of 90.9 mm, bore of 90.5 mm and compression ratio of 9.6.

It also includes overhead valve, two valves per cylinder EZD and variable camshaft or valve timing. The engine in the vehicle delivers power up to 274 kilo watts at the rate of 5200 rotations per minute and torque of 395 lb ft at 4250 rotations per minute rate.


The concept of Charger model is inspired by the 1960s Charger model from the Dodge group. The model is designed with the fresh styles that meet the next generation desires. Overall, the vehicle is expected to grab a good chunk of market share by competing with the other BMW, Chevrolet and Lincoln models of its class. The Charger comes mated with 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Charger RT Sedan model will be offered in four trim levels and equipped with the V6 engine that gives an average fuel economy of 22 miles per gallon.

Looking at its performance on city roads and highways, the Chrager gives you fuel economy of 15 miles per gallon on the city streets, while it gives 23 miles per gallon on the highway roads. It is mated with the five speed automatic transmission, and will be made available either in the all wheel drive or the rear wheel drive.

The SE Sedan model comes powered with the V6 engine mated with the automatic transmission. The vehicle on an average produces 24 miles per gallon.

The primary specs of the 2010 Dodge Charger are listed below:

• Drivetrain-Rear wheel drive
• Transmission- four-speed automatic
• Power- 133 kilo watts @ 5500 rpm
• Torque- 198 lb ft @ 4000 rpm

The SRT8 model of Charger is offered in V8 engine, mated with 5-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle gives an average fuel economy of 18 miles per gallon, delivering 13 miles per gallon in the city roads and 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads. It comes providing rear wheel drive. The engine 6.1 liter V8 engine comes with the bore of 103 mm, compression ratio of 10.3 and stroke of 90.9 mm. The engine produces 318 kilo watts of power at the rate of 6200 rotations per minute and torque of 420 lb ft at the rate of 4800 rotations per minute.

The latest generation SXT variant of the Dodge Charger comes with the 3.5 liter V6 front engine, providing either the rear wheel drive or the all wheel drive. The 2010 Charger is expected to delivers the fuel economy of 24 miles per gallon on an average, giving 15 miles on the city roads and 22 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The vehicle comes mated with the five-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 186 kilo watts of power at the rate of 6400 rpm and torque of 250 lb ft @3800 rpm.
