The 2010 Element from Honda will be an adventurous sport utility vehicle with high performance and efficient fuel economy. The new to the 2010 model will be ample space in passenger area as well as in the cargo apartment. More space in the vehicle will be due to its design without B-pillars to maximize functionality and efficiency.
The 2.4 liter i-VTEC engine to be powered will produce power more than 160 hp and it will be second to none in its class. The engine will deliver plenty of torque and will also come with more towing capacity. The next generation 2010 Element model will be offered in four-wheel drive. This will sense the slippage of wheels and sends power automatically to the rear wheels, to avoid slippage. The powerful engine to be equipped in the new model is expected to achieve the fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon in the city premises and 25 miles per gallon on the highway roads.
The 2010 Element will be designed based on the unit body construction technology, which provides twisting resistance and bending and will result in promoting smooth and quiet ride even on more dirty roads.
