The full-sized van continues for the next generation as the 2010 Express from the house of Chevy. The new model will serve as both powerful tow vehicle or passenger mini bus and as a commercial hauler. The new variant will have the seating capacity to accommodate up to 15 passengers. The 2010 mini van will be offered in either long wheel base or short wheel base lengths. The new model will also offer various engines and variety of load capacities.

Engine

The power to the vehicle comes from a standard 5.3 liter V8 engine that produces power up to 301 hp at an angular speed of 5200 rpm and torque of 453 Nm at an angular speed of 4500 rpm and it will also offer 6.0 liter V8 model that produces 323 hp as an optional. The standard to both the engines will be a 4-speed automatic transmission. The new V8 engine will have the bore size of 96.0 mm, stroke of 92.0 mm and compression ratio of 9.5 with two valves per cylinder and overhead valve.

Features

Though the next generation 2010 Express will be a mini van, it will also be featured with all the safety and communication features like traction control, electronic stability control, curtain side air bags, antilock brakes, and AM/FM radio.
