2010 Fusion from the house of Ford comes with new face-lift, featuring new powertrains, and even a fresh 6-speed transmission.

Ford revealed 2010 Fusion featuring an even bigger three bar grille, sharply redesigned lower bumper, angry eye headlights, and nicely contoured hood.

The engines to the next generation model are also new and the engine lineup includes 6 models.

Engine

The base engine is a Duratec 2.5 liter four cylinder model that produces power level up to 174 hp and torque of 172 lb ft, while the other optional models include 3.0 liter V6 model that produces 19 more horsepower than the standard engine and 228 lb ft of torque.

Too-of-the-line 3.5L V6 engine produces 263 hp and torque of 249 lb ft. The standard transmission to all the three engines is Ford’s 6F35 6-speed automatic transmission.


Performance

2010 Fusion model equipped with the 2.5 liter I-4 engine achieves at least 3 miles per gallon extra on the highways than the Honda Accord, and 2MPG extra, when compared with the Toyota Camry.

It is equipped with all the essential safety and entertainment and communication features, and 2010 Fusion looks pretty trendy too.
