2010 Fusion Coming Soon
The 2010 Fusion from the house of Ford will come with new facelifts, new powertrains and also the new 6-speed transmission.
Ford’s just revealed 2010 Fusion model includes an even bigger three bar grille, sharply redesigned lower bumper, angry eye headlights, and nicely contoured hood. The engines to the next generation model are also new and the engine lineup includes 6 models.
Engine
The standard engine to the car is a Duratec 2.5 liter four cylinder model that produces power up to 174 hp and torque of 172 lb ft. The other optional models include 3.0 liter V6 model that produces 19 more horse power than the standard engine and 228 lb ft of torque, 3.5 liter V6 engine that produces 263 hp and torque of 249 lb ft. The standard transmission to all the three engines is Ford’s 6F35 6-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The 2010 Fusion model equipped with the 2.5 liter I-4 engine is expected to achieve at least 3 miles per gallon on the highway than the Accord model from Honda and 2 miles per gallon when compared with the Toyota Camry version.
Apart from the several engine options, body styles, the new model is also equipped with all the essential safety and entertainment and communication features.
