2010 HHR SS: Check what’s new!

The 2010 HHR SS model comes with the addition of limited slip differentials and Brembo 4-piston front brake calipers. The interior region in the model may also undergo certain changes when compared with its predecessor model. The brand new HHR SS will come equipped with reconfigured performance display.

The car comes with the 2.0 liter turbo charged engine that produce 260 hp at the rate of 5300 rotations per minute and also the five speed manual transmission capacity. With the effective usage of engine, the vehicle achieves 21 miles per gallon in the city streets while 29 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a time span of just 6.3 seconds and covers quarter mile distance in 14.8 seconds at the speed of 98.5 miles per hour. The engine used in the model, intercooled direct inject Ecotec unit and the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine is similar to the engines in the Saturn Sky Redline and the Pontiac Solstice GXP models. The model comes with the wheel base of 103.5 inches, length, width and height of 176.2 inches, 69.1 inches and 63.1 inches respectively.

The turbocharged engine in the model makes the car one of the best front wheel drive compact model in the car market. High performance can be achieved by its Michelin pilot sport tires fixed on aluminum polished 18 inch wheels. The 2010 HHR SS model is the high performance version of Chevrolet’s retro wagon hatchback model that was launched in the model year 2008. The options for the transmission speeds include 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. The other performance oriented features added in the car include boost gauge, leather covered steering wheel, bolstered sports seats and aerodynamic body kit.
