The 2010 Hornet from the Dodge group is a small car that comes in 4-door hatchback model and unique traits from the house of Nissan.
The model is expected to be introduced in the model year 2010 (subject to the financial position of the company) and the vehicle will basically be built based on the Versa model from Nissan. The 2010 Hornet model will come with 1.6 liter super charged engine with 4-cylinders that will deliver 127 hp power and torque of 165 pound-feet.

The new model is produced by collaboration of the Chrysler and the Nissan group.
Due to the company’s financial problems, the production of the model has been kept on hold. The model comes sharing most of the design features with the Nissan Cube launched in 2009.

The 2010 Hornet is expected to be featured as a versatile package, having high fuel thrift and concept inspired appearance.
The body style of the vehicle is designed based on the Hornet hatchback concept released in 2006, while package utilities remain same.
The large pickup truck Hornet will be released as a replacement to the present slow selling Titan model from the Nissan group.

The salient features in the vehicle include -

• Acceleration-0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds
• Maximum speed- 135 miles per hour

The base model of the Hornet was released in 2006 and later it has being redesigning again as a 2010 model vehicle. The vehicle is powered by the 1.6 liter supercharged four cylinder tritec engine that produces 127 kilo watts of power.
