The new 2010 Q7 from Audi is expected to come with more eye spotting differences that concern the rear tail lights, LED front blinkers, revised front head lights, chunkier door moldings, new integrated underbody protection plates in center of rear and front bumper and updated large frame grille sporting vertical chrome bars.

The 2010 full-sized Sport Utility Vehicle comes powered with 4.2 liter V8 TDI engine that can produce power of 340 hp and torque of 760 Nm. The other engine offered by the next generation Q7 will be 3.6 liter V6 FSI engine that can produce power 280 hp of power.

The interior features that are expected to be included in the 2010 Q7 are, leather seating surfaces, trip computer, 12-way power front bucket seats, driver seat memory, digital trip odometer with service interval indicator, net map pockets on front seats, driver info display system that includes pictogram display, outside temperature, 8-color display, auto check system, telematics, navigation, radio, telephone and speed warning device, rear center armest with dual cup holders, electronic cruise control, home link transceiver in overhead console, dual front cup holders, rear window defogger etc.

The new Q7 is expected to be offered in 7 different trim levels namely the 4.2 liter prestige, 3.6 liter premium, 3.0 liter TDI diesel, 3.6 liter premium plus, 3.0 liter TDI premium plus, 3.6 liter prestige and 3.0 liter TDI premium. All the models will be offered in four door body structure.

The 3.6 liter Quattro four-door Q7 will be provided with all wheel drive. With the powerful engine, the new model is expected to achieve mileage of 14 miles per gallon in the city streets, while it achieves 20 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The next generation Q7 sport utility vehicle comes with the capacity to accommodate up to 7 passengers, mated with the six speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.


The new Q7 will come with the safety features that include,
• Rear parking sensors
• Hydraulic brake assist
• Crash sensor system
• LATCH provisions
• Child safety rear door locks
• Front 2-stage air bags
• Rear and front side curtain air bags
• Electronic stabilization program with electronic differential lock
• Traction control
• 3-point seat belt pretensioners
• Tire pressure monitoring system

As far as the entertainment system in the next generation Q7 are concerned, it comes with the features like auxiliary iPod integration and audio input, radio data system, built-in hard drive, one sub woofer, sirus satellite radio, 1000 watts stereo output, 14 speakers, video monitor, DVD player and FM/AN in-dash single DVD/CD with MP3.CD playback.

The new Q7 comes with the length of 200.4 inches, 68.4 inches height, 78.1 inches width and wheel base of 118.2 inches. The curb weight of the new Q7 is expected to be 5005 lbs, while the gross weight will be 6823 lbs. Another exciting aspect in the new 2010 Q7 is that it will be offered in 27 different interior styles.
