2010 RDX

The compact luxury Sport utility Vehicle, 2010 RDX from Acura is expected to hit the market by the end of 2010. The new model will come with latest design styles providing more drive comfort and safety.


The next generation RDX comes powered with 2.3 liter I4 engine that can produce up to 240 hp of power at 6000 rotations per minute and torque of 260 lb ft at 4500 rotations per minute. The fuel economy of the new model will be 19 miles per gallon in the city premises, while it is 19 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

The 2010 Acura RDX comes with several changes resulting in a sporty and aggressive appearance. Exterior changes to the new variant include bold new rear and front bumpers fascias, satin trim accents, revised tail lights and head lights, 18 inch diameter aluminum alloy wheels, and Acura’s signature design front grille.


The sport minded chassis remains same as that of in the previous model. The revised braking system delivers enhanced durability and better feel. The new standard features to the interior region of the 2010 RDX include,

• Rear view camera system,
• Auto function head lights,
• Ambient footwell lighting,
• Center console storage tray,
• USB connectivity,
• Improved cup holders and
•Note function for XM radio

By applying advanced technologies, the new RDX model incorporates a high class leading features that keep the passengers in control, entertained and informed. The other standard features in the 2010 vehicle include, 7-speaker Acura premium audio system, Bluetooth hands free link connectivity along with Bluetooth audio system and an USB port that allows the connection of devices like iPod. Acura’s signature navigation system will be provided as optional that enables the passengers to get connected to outside world as the navigation system comes along with the voice recognition system with expanded voice capabilities.


The AcuraLink satellite communication system comes with the real time traffic system, which include AcuraLink real time weather system and traffic rerouting system. The 2010 variant will be incorporated with the leading safety features designed based on the Acura’s technology and this include vehicle stability assist, advanced side, and front air bags and antilock braking system.
Looking at the exterior of the 2010 RDX, it comes with the new front fascia, hood with a new front edge design, updated HID head lights and Acura’s signature front grille. The wheels of the next generation RDX will be wider when compared with the previous model. The front wheel will come in the size of 61.9 inches and rear wheel in the size of 62.6 inches so as to provide excellent handling of the vehicle on all the road conditions. The features like satin trim, revised tail lights, aggressive bumper fascia and rectangular exhaust finishers give the model a fresh new appearance.


The features at the exterior region of 2010 RDX will include, roof spoiler, glass electric front sunroof, front fog lights, day time running lights, passenger and driver third row windows, projector beam lens, xenon bulb head lights and underbody protection for fuel tank.
