2010 RS4 is ready to hit the market

The 2010 Audi RS4 is a luxury sports sedan car that comes with the four door body style and comes in only one trim model. The model comes with providing more comfort and sports performance. It combines the family utility feature with the high sports performance. It is powered with the new 4.2 liter V6 bi-turbo engine that produces power of 250 kilo watts and torque of 440 Nm at the rate of 2500 rotations per minute to 6000rpm and is mated with the six speed gearbox. It provides the standard Quattro all wheel drive and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilo meters per hour in a time span of just 4.9 seconds. The fuel economy of the vehicle on the city streets is 16 miles per gallon and 21 miles per gallon on the highway roads.


The 2010 RS4 comes with the new motor racing brake system and ensures great deceleration at any speed. The low level noise is produced even the brakes are applied at great speeds. The braking system in the vehicle is featured with the electronic brake force distribution (EBD), anti lock braking system (ABS) and with the electronic differential locks (EDL). The ESP system in the vehicle monitors the behaviour of the driver against the input given by him and uses the traction control system and antilock brakes to balance the slide or even a skid. The new RS4 comes in a Tier 1 premium such as BMW and Mercedes cars.


Similar to the BMW and Mercedes the 2010 Audi RS4 is more comfortable, roomy inside, faster and more luxurious car. The handling of the vehicle resembles like that of a sports sedan car. When compared to the BMW and Mercedes vehicles the price of the 2010 RS4 is little low and meets most of the respects delivered by those cars.


Similar to the RS4 from the Audi, it is producing the next generation car under the name of RS5 including with the same power and equipments in the vehicle. The vehicle is under development at present and its testing is carrying out in United States and in Germany. The displacement will be same as that of in the 2010 RS4 model but in addition comes added with the new Valve lift system in the model.


The supercharged 6-cylinder engine in the vehicle produces high level of torque at the low rotations. The base engine is estimated to produce 290 hp of power and torque of 310 lb ft.

As far as the performance and the efficiency of the vehicle is concerned, the 4.2 liter V8 front engine comes with the stroke of 92.8 mm, 84.5 mm of bore and has the compression ratio of 12.5. The variable timing camshaft in the vehicle comes with four valves per cylinder. It has the fuel capacity of 16.6 gallons of main premium unleaded fuel tank equipped in it.
