2010 Equinox ready to hit
Chevrolet unveiled its new compact crossover vehicle, 2010 Equinox at the Detroit Auto Show. The new model will come with distinctive designs with excellent efficiency.
Engine
The power to the vehicle will come from the 2.4 liter direct injection engine that can achieve fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The new model will improve in mileage by 25 percent in comparison to the previous version. The exterior region of the vehicle will be designed similar to the Traverse crossover and Chevrolet Malibu sedan models.
The new model will debut in Detroit, next month at the North American Auto Show. The sale of the 2010 equinox will commence from the last season of 2009. The new model will be offered in three different trim levels- LS, LTZ and LT, with all wheel drive as standard on all the versions.
Standard Features
The 2010 Equinox will offer two different engines, each with variable valve timing technology and fuel saving direct injection. The highlight features of the next generation vehicle include-
• Standard XM satellite radio and Onstar system,
• New 2.4 liter Ecotec direct injected I-4 engine,
• New 3.0 liter DOHC direct injected V-6 engine,
• Smart remote starting system,
• Heated seats based on the outside temperature,
• Six standard air bags,
• Driving range of 800 kilo meters with both the engines, and
• Standard four wheel disc brakes with traction control and stabilitrak electronic stability control
The new Chevy Equinox will also offer different wheel sizes such as 17, 18 and 19 inch wheels.
2010 Chevy Malibu: Take a Sneak peak!
The 2010 Chevy Malibu has been recently unveiled and this killer machine will be quite promising with a good amount of modifications to the existing model. The noticeable improvements in the 2010 Malibu include:
• Dual overhead cam
• Balance Shafts
• Traction Control
• Pressure Monitoring System
• Disc and the Anti lock brakes
• Electronic Stability Control

The Malibu released in the year 2008 offered 2.4 liter inline 4-engine, which produced 126 kilo watts of power and a 3.6 liter V6 that produced 188 kilo watts of power. The Malibu has received the critical praises from the press of The New York Times referring the vehicle as “super Accord”, from the General Motors, and the Car and Driver Magazine stated as “Camry, Beware”.
The model received the award North American cart of the year at the North American International Auto Show in the month of January, 2008. It won the North American COTY Award in the year 2007.
The initial sales of the vehicles crossed the expectations of the sources from the General Motors and were sold equal to the Cadillac CTS and the Buick Enclave models released by the same company. The Malibu after its redesigning in the year 2007 reflecteed increased sale up to 50 percent, thereby increasing the General Motor’s share market by 8.4 percent.

The Malibu from the house of Chevrolet hit the market for the first time in the year 1964. The vehicle falls under the category of mid-sized sedans. It was released as a predecessor to the Chevrolet Beretta and successor to the Chevrolet Celebrity model. The vehicle was redesigned and launched in the year 1997 and is still under production. It is marketed in the countries like Canada, Mexico, United States and the Middle East countries.
The Malibu released in the year 1964 was a sub-series to the Chevrolet Chevelle model. The Malibu were available in the four body styles namely four door sedan, 2-door sport Coupe hardtop, two seat station wagon and the convertible. The space inside the Malibu was more when compared with the 300 Deluxe and the Chevelle 300 models and was made with the vinyl upholstery and pattern cloth.
The Malibu released in the year 1965 was carried with the changes like fixing new grille and the tail part of the vehicle was revised.

The Malibu released in the year 1968 was released as a second generation model and was continued till the year 1972. The body styles of this vehicle were available in four models namely the 4-door station wagon, 2-door convertible, 2-door coupe and in 4-door sedan. The vehicle was redesigned again in the year 1973 and launched as a third generation model. The models released in this period were mid range Malibu, Chevelle Deluxe and the top line Laguna.

The model Deluxe ended its production in the year 1974 and the Malibu model became the entry level vehicle. The Laguna was replaced with the Malibu Classic and Laguna S-3 was launched as a replacement to the SS model and continued its production till 1976. Currently, Chevrolet Monte Carlo is yet another hot option in the market
2010 Monte Carlo uncovered!
The Monte Carlo hit the roads for the first time in the year 1970 as an impressive product from the Chevrolet, which is a subsidiary of the General Motors. The vehicle falls under the category of personal luxury vehicle. The company dropped the production of the model in the year 1988 and again restarted its manufacturing in the year 1995 and continued up to the model year 2007. The vehicle was produced as a predecessor to the Chevrolet Lumina coupe, which was in production during the period 1990 to 1994 and as a successor to the 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro.

2010 Corvette C6
The model car Corvette hit the roads for the first time in the year 1953, manufactured by the General Motors group. The first Corvette model was designed by Earl Harley and it was named by Myron Scott. Chevrolet announces 2010 Aveo5 and the Aveo Xtreme!
The Aveo5 from Chevrolet, was released in the middle of 2008, in the eastern countries and it was a redesigned vehicle from the house of Chevrolet that contained 5 doors. The redesigning was done to the initial version of Chevrolet Aveo, by adding a new grille and tail lights to the vehicle.
