2010 300C

The 2010 300C from Chrysler is expected to hit the car market in the first quarter of 2011. The introduction model is expected to be unveiled by the end of 2009 or by the early months of 2010. The final testing, handling and ride tuning of the model are scheduled to be carried out in the final season of 2009.

Engine
When compared to the LX series, the 300C will be more aero dynamic, and fuel efficient. The 5.7 liter V-8 engine that can produce power up to 360 hp is supposed to be provided in the 2010 300C. This new engine can deliver 30 more horse power in comparison to the current generation 3.5 liter engine. The engine in the next generation vehicle is expected to be paired to 8-speed transmission, but it is unlikely to happen.

The next generation 2010 300C will be offered in three different trim levels- base four door all wheel drive sedan, SRT four door rear wheel drive sedan and the Hemi four wheel rear wheel drive sedan. All the models will have the standard wheel base of 120 inches. The length, width and the height of the base model will be 196.8 inches, 74.1 inches and 58.9 inches respectively. The curb weight of the next generation model will be 4251 lbs, while the gross weight of the model will be 5500 lbs.

The V8 engine to be equipped in the 2010 300C will deliver power up to 360 hp at an angular speed of 5150 rpm and torque of 389 lb ft at an angular speed of 2000 lbs.

2010 Pacifica

The 2010 Pacifica from Chrysler comes with new updates along with the latest Chrysler appearance that comprises of a striated hood. It comes powered by the new 4.0 liter V6 engine that can produce up to 255 hp of power and the vehicle comes mated with the 6-speed automatic transmission, providing all wheel drive. Two types of engines will be available to the variant namely 3.8 liter and 4.0 liter types. The next generation Pacifica is designed based on the body style of minivan.

The 2010 Chrysler Pacifica is a mid-sized crossover sport utility vehicle developed on its own platform. Changes to the 2010 SUV include head lights, grille, front fascia, fenders and 17 inch wheels. Three row curtain air bags in the SUV provide more safety to the passengers as safety is a crucial engineering in the production of 2010 Pacifica.

As far as the entertainment system in the next generation Pacifica is concerned, the Cassette/CD player will be replaced by the new DVD/CD/MP3 radio. Along with the entertainment system, the interior region of the model is equipped with the latest technological devices like control buttons, panels.


The engine in the new 2010 Pacifica comes with the bore size of 96 mm, 10 compression ratio, 81 mm stroke, four valves per each cylinder and overhead cam. With the help of powerful engine, vehicle will deliver fuel economy of 22 miles per gallon on the highway roads, while it achieves 17 miles per gallon on the city streets. The power generated by the engine will be 186 kilo watts at the rate of 6400 rotations per minute and torque of 250 lb ft at the rate of 3950 rotations per minute.

The 2010 Chrysler Pacifica is expected to hit the market in the spring season of 2010 as a brand new sports tourer car. At maximum six passengers can accommodate in the vehicle and also provides space for cargo. The key features in the new Pacifica include four wheel antilock brakes, load leveling rear suspension, and power adjustable pedals with memory.

The other standard features provided in the 2010 Chrysler Pacifica include, third and second row individual seats fold to make flat-load floor, second row bucket seats with fold flat capabilities, recline and fore-aft, 6-passenger seating capacity in three rows, 10-way power driver’s seat, 50/50 easy access to the third row bench, leather trimmed seats in second and first row with seat mounted armrests, center console in first and second row with cup holders, storage and cell phone holder in first row and heated seats in both the first and second rows.


In order to provide more comfort to the passengers in the car, it provides the additional features like thigh support, memory seats, adjustable pedals, adjustable air outlets, storage area, heated seats and dual cup holders. The Chrysler Pacifica won the best pick award in 2006 from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

2010 PT Cruiser

The new 2010 PT Cruiser from Chrysler comes with no major changes when compared with the previous Cruiser vehicle. The new Cruiser model is expected to hit the market in the middle of 2010. It comes in four door wagon body style, allowing five passengers to accommodate in the vehicle.


The 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser model will be offered in three different trims, namely Limited, Touring and Base models. All the three models come with 2.4 liter four-cylinder inline engine. Touring and Base models would have 150 hp. Standard on Limited and optional on Touring model would be 180 hp turbo charged engine. The base model of PT Cruiser will be offered in either automatic or manual transmission, while the Touring and Limited versions will be offered in only automatic transmission.


The 2.4 liter inline engine comes with four valves per cylinder and overhead cam. The bore, compression ratio and stroke of the engine will be 87.5 mm, 9.5 and 101 mm respectively. The power from the engine will be 112 kilo watts at the rate of 5,200 rotations per minute and torque will be 164 lb ft at the rate of 4000 rotations per minute. The average fuel economy of the next generation compact car is expected to be 20 miles per gallon. The maximum speed of the 2010 PT Cruiser is expected to be more than 65 miles per hour.

The features provided in the new PT Cruiser will include,

Traction control and four wheel disc brakes comes standard, while the Uconnect system and satellite radio will be provided as optional features. The Uconnect system in the car uses sound system as wireless link, hands free to any cell phone in the vehicle. The cargo space provided in the 2010 PT Cruiser will be versatile and generous. Flat fold front passenger seat will be useful for loading large objects. The area behind the rear seat will be reserved but split rear bench removes or folds to create a wide, tall cargo bay.


The size of wheel base in the base model will be 15 inches, while it will be 16 inches for Limited and Touring models. The GT model comes included with the features like silver instrument faces with matching cabin accent, exclusive sport seats, wheel base of 17 inches and body color exterior trim.

A steady stream of trim options and the new packages provided in the new 2010 PT Cruiser is likely to improve the sales rate. The sport suspension system in the Limited versions is expected to provide nice driving comfort but with some minor vibrations.


Though hard plastics are used in the production of interior parts, but do not look cheap. The headroom provided in the car will be satisfactory, despite its high body build. Adjustable chair-height seats are equipped so as to provide more comfort to driver as well as passengers.

Chrysler announces the 2010 Circuit

The Circuit from the house of Chrysler has been recently announced and is expected to be built based on the forth-coming electric technology. The vehicle was unveiled at Detroit Auto Show in 2009. The other features in the vehicle remain almost unchanged and there are no drastic changes when compared with the previous model of Chrysler Circuit.

The tangerine paint gives a new appearance to the vehicle. It looks similar to the Dodge EV model. The well known modification made to the vehicle is its front fascia. It is designed by adding the latest four bar grille from the Dodge company. The headlamps remain same as that of in its predecessor model and it is a carryover to the Lotus Europa.

The features equipped under the hood look similar to the Dodge EV model. It comes with the electric motor engine that produces 200 kilo watts of power and torque of 480 lb ft.

With its powerful engine, the 2010 Circuit accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a time span of just 5 seconds and it can cover quarter mile distance in just 13 seconds. The maximum speed that can be achieved by the new 2010 Circuit model is 120 miles per hour and according to the reports it is expected to deliver more.

The engine and electric motor in the vehicle are powered by the battery pack made up of Lithium ion, placed behind the cabin. According to the sources from the Chrysler group, it is expected that the battery mounted in the vehicle can deliver massive power so that it may cover the distance of over 150 miles to 200 miles. The recharging of battery can be done through a 220 volt household outlet and it is enough to recharge the batteries for a period of four hours or eight hours via a 110 volt outlet. It is enough to cover up to the distance of up to 200 miles per one recharge to the present generation vehicles.

The EV concept of the Circuit from the Dodge is expected to hit the market by 2013. The roadster high cost electric vehicle is built with the collaboration of Lotus. The Circuit EV concept was also displayed at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. The model is expected to come with all the needed safety features and the other standard features that meet the requirements of the next generation car enthusiasts.

The safety features that are include in the vehicle include:

• Antilock brake system
• Curtain side air bags
• Front side air bags
• Side impact air bags
• Electronic stability system

The other features that are expected as standard in the 2010 Circuit are the power locks and mirrors, stereo sound system, navigation system and wireless satellite radio. The vehicle is expected to perform well in the crash tests as it will be built with very high quality materials. The 2010 Circuit is designed so as that to provide more safety to the driver and to the passengers at both the front seats and rear seats. The model is expected to be released by the last quarter of 2010.

2010 Imperial to cross the level of expectations of the folks?

The Imperial model yet to be released for the model year 2010. The Chrysler Imperial was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show in 2006 for the first time.

Its assembly plant is located at Canada, the same place where the Magnum and 300C are produced.

The Chrysler Imperial is designed based on the same platform of the Chrysler 300. It comes powered by the 5.7 liter hemi V8 engine.

2010 Chrysler Nassau

The Nassau from the Chrysler group hit the roads for the first time in the year 2007. The vehicle falls under the category of luxury coupe model. Finally the 2010 Charger unveiled!

The new Charger is a full size car built by the Chrysler LLC for the Dodge brand, which will hit the North American market next year. The name of the car has historical importance and the company has manufactured many of its kind in the same name. The vehicle was introduced in the month of February, 2005 and released as the model car for the year 2006. The latest model has the platform similar to that of LX of the model Chrysler 300. The interiors of the Charger vehicle are almost same as that of the Magnum from the Mercedes Benz. The vehicle was released as a replacement vehicle to Dodge Intrepid. This vehicle is a sedan type four door model, built in Canada at Brampton Assembly.

2010 Avenger - Preview

Dodge Avenger’s latest generation in nearing release, as the 2010 Avenger was showcased off-late by the Chrysler Corporation. It comes with several unique features, which were not seen in the previous generations of the Avenger.

In its early days, the Dodge Avenger was the first vehicle sold in North America with 2 door coupe during the years 1995 to 2000. The price and size of the Dodge Avenger was comparable to that of Dodge Daytona. The vehicle was discontinued in the year 2003 and later it re-entered the market in the year 2007, under the label MY2008 design.

The following features are available in the latest 2010 Avenger model -

• storage lockers at the front seats
• climate control system at the back side of the vehicle
• power outlets provided additionally
• hard drive based navigation,
• stereo and phone facility,
• child mirror to view at the interior region,
• the facility to open the doors at 90 degrees angle
• booster seats (optional)
• air bags for passengers and driver, mounted at the side, as well as curtain side,
• ABS technology brakes
• assistance for electronic mitigation.

The Hillman Avenger was also named as Dodge in the countries where Hillman brand was not there. During that period Hillman was under the Chrysler Corporation. The Hillman Avenger was comparatively small in size, light weight car with drive on rear side of the vehicle and the body was designed in station wagon and sedan variants. Four cylinders were used as engines except for the vehicles produced in the South Africa as to not violate the local rules.

More specifics about the 2010 Avenger are not really known as of now, and everyone is eagerly waiting for the Dodge Chrysler duo to come up with the best of the lot in the Avenger series.
