2010 Panda

The 2010 Panda from Fiat is a 5-door hatchback model designed based on 500 retro hatchback released in 2003. The variant is expected to hit the market in the last season of 2010 or in the early months of 2011 model year.


The 2010 Fiat Panda comes with 1.3 liter Turbo Diesel engine and delivers average fuel economy of 40 miles per gallon. The innovative solutions of the Panda attract customers towards the model. It is produced mainly for the people who seek exterior elegance and better handling along with the off-road capabilities.

The new Panda comes with 44 kilo watts of power at the rate of 5000 rotations per minute from the 1.2 liter engine, torque of 102 Nm at the rate of 2500 rotations per minute and it is expected to upgrade up to 70 bhp from the 1.3 liter multi jet engine at the rate of 4000 rotations per minute. The 2010 Panda will be available in two different trim levels- Panda 4×4 Climbing and Panda 4×4, 11 separate body colors and two different interior designs. The 4×4 Panda Climbing model comes with stylish off-road capability and in small size to handle any kind of road situations. It also comes with attractive exterior and interior designs produced using the latest technologies.


On the other hand, the Panda 4×4 model does not have stylish exterior designs when compared with the Climbing model, but comes included with high grip tires, off-road routes and viscous coupling drive system.

As far as the dimensions of both the models are concerned, they share small proportions. The length, width and the height of the Climbing variant are 357 cm, 160 cm and 163 cm respectively. The smaller dimensions of the vehicle help to turn at just 9.6 meters circle. The minimum ground clearance for the basic model is 160 mm, while it is 165 mm for the Climbing model. The tires of the vehicle are specially reinforced to meet any type of road conditions as the tires are engineered for low grip surfaces.

The two different interior designs are offered namely the grey/yellow and the grey/red colors. 2010 Panda comes with more luggage space and it is one of the key features to attract the customers. By folding down the rear seat, the luggage area can be increased from 200 to 855 dm3. With the help of powerful engine, the vehicle can accelerate form 0 to 100 kilo meters per hour in a time span of just 20 seconds and can reach the maximum speed of 145 kilo meters per hour. With the help of turbo diesel engine, it is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilo meters per hour in just 16 seconds and achieves top speed of up to 155 kilo meters per hour.


The 2010 Fiat Panda comes with the standard features like antilock braking system with electronic brake distribution, tires fitted with discs and antislip feature during deceleration. The base model of Panda won “Car of the Year” award in 2004.

In comes the 2010 Fiat Linea!

The new 2010 Linea was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009 by the Mansory, which is well known for providing all the automobile parts made with the carbon fiber. The model Linea is produced with carbon fiber, new front apron, larger air outlets on the sides of the car, side skirts and is back along with new diffuser. It is provided with the LED day time running lights at the front side along with ‘V’ shaped grille. The vehicle falls under the category of luxury cars, providing nice looks and great comfort. Fiat is planning to mainly target the Indian and the North American Market. The Linea suits well for the Indian roads and will be available in Indian market by the middle of 2009.

The four door Linea sedan is produced in Turkey, India, Brazil and China. The car design has the sleek Italian appearance that makes it more trendy and stylish. The vehicle is offered in four different versions of engines like the two petrol and two diesel engines.

The Linea sedan is manufactured by the Fiat India Automobiles, which is a joint venture between the Italian Fiat group automobiles and the Indian automobile giant Tata Motors. The car is expected to cover the 35 percent of the market share in first three months. The company is aimed to sell more than 40 thousand vehicles during 2009 model year and double to that in the coming year.
