The 2010 H2 model was scheduled to come with latest turbo diesel V8 engine and the release has been delayed due to the General Motor’s weak financial position and there have been several rumors off-late that GM may drop out the production of all the Hummer brand models.

The 2010 H2 is expected to be unveiled with no major changes when compared with its predecessor model released in the model year 2009. The 2010 H2 is expected to come in crew cab and H2 wagon Sport Utility truck models. The folding mid gate in the car looks similar to that of in the Chevrolet Avalanche model that is equipped in between the cargo bed and the cabin.

The new H2 model comes with 7-passenger seating capacity, facilitated through third row optional seat in the car. It is expected to be provided with the 6.2 liter V8 engine that produces 393 hp, six speed automatic-transmission, and the ability to work on the Ethanol blended fuel. The top towing capacity of the car will be same as that of its predecessor model, 8000lb and it will facilitate an all wheel drive system.

The advanced safety and add-on features provided in the vehicle include:

• Curtain side air bags
• ABS and
• Antiskid system
• Premium sound system
• Navigation system

The other features in the vehicle may include leather upholstery, power tilt steering wheel, heated steering wheel and wireless cell phone link. The new H2 model is under development by the AM General, at the assembly plant Mishawaka, Indiana, United States of America. The SUT is built based on the models GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe. Totally the H2 is built by dividing in to three sections, the rear part is based on the frame series GM1500, middle section is designed new and the front part of the vehicle uses the modified series utility frame work- GM 2500.

The rear part of the model is upgraded with the gross vehicle weight 3629 kilo grams and can achieve from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a time span of just 8.2 seconds. The H2 model released in the model year 2003 was nominated for North American Truck of the Year and also appeared in Midnight Club 3, a video game series. According to the research by the Quality Planning in January, revealed that H3 and H2 Hummer models are most ticketed cars in the States of America. The production of the vehicle may drop by the General Motors due to the company’s financial crisis and high cost of producing the Hummer model cars.

The other standard available features in the SUT include rear radio controls, compass, air conditioning, leather covered steering wheel with radio controls, heated rear and front seats, 8-way power front seats, 6-disc CD changer and memory system. The features provided as optional add-ons in the car include universal garage door opener, night vision, DVD entertainment system, rear view camera, adjustable rear suspension air bags and power sunroof.

The new 2010 H3 comes with the FlexFuel capability system that enables to run the on E85 fuel. The optional model includes 16 inch chrome wheels and the other enhancements. The latest H3 model will be offered in three different colors - Canyon Metallic, Silver Stone Metallic and the Red Rock Metallic!

The new 2010 Hummer h3 comes with few small updates when compared with its predecessor model. The vehicle falls under the category of sports utility vehicle and comes in four different trim levels like- H3 SUV 4WD 4-door, H3 4-door adventure, H3 4WD 4-door Luxury and Alpha models.

The H3 4WD 4-door model comes with 3.7 liter and is built on the Sport Utility Vehicle body style providing four-wheel drive. The model with the engine achieves 14 miles per gallon in the city roads and 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The vehicle provides the capacity to accommodate 5-passengers and provided with 4-doors. It comes with the five-speed manual transmission along with the overdrive.

The H3 adventure model comes with gas 5 liter, 3.7 liter engine and achieves 14 miles per gallon in the city streets while 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads. It is provided with the four wheel drive and has the seating capacity to accommodate up to five passengers. The transmission in the vehicle provided is the five-speed manual transmission along with the overdrive.

The 2010 H3 SUV 4WD 4-door Luxury model comes with the gas 5, 3.6 liter engine and achieves 14 miles per gallon in the city streets, while 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The model is provided with the four wheel drive and has the passenger capacity to accommodate five passengers. It is provided with the four speed automatic transmission with overdrive controlled electronically and is included with the leather wrapped shift handle.

The 2010 H3 SUV 4WD 4-door Alpha model comes with the gasoline V8, 5.3 liter engine and achieves 13 miles per gallon in the city streets, while 16 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The model is provided with the four wheel drive and has the passenger capacity to accommodate five passengers. It is provided with the four speed automatic transmission with overdrive controlled electronically and is included with the leather wrapped shift handle.

The H3 Alpha’s V8 engine delivers 300 hp and torque of 320 lb-ft. All the engines that have the 5-cylinders have the towing capacity with the manual transmission of 3000 pounds and with the automatic transmission it is 4500 pounds. The H3 Adventure model comes featured with the Off-Road suspension package that includes rear and front fully electronic locking differentials.

The top-end version of 2010 H3 includes additional luxury features like:

- the heated 8-way power adjustable front seats,
- leather upholstery, and
- leather folded steering wheel. Though the Alpha version is designed for comfort as well as high performance, offers heated power adjustable front seats, V8 engine with the leather wrapped steering and leather seating.
