The Aveo5 from Chevrolet, was released in the middle of 2008, in the eastern countries and it was a redesigned vehicle from the house of Chevrolet that contained 5 doors. The redesigning was done to the initial version of Chevrolet Aveo, by adding a new grille and tail lights to the vehicle.
The Aveo5 is provided with 1.4 liter engine with 4 cylinders. The vehicle is available in both the transmissions – 5-speed manual as well as the 4-speed automatic. The vehicle provides more space inside and has the capacity to store 220 liters luggage capacity.
In order to obtain more space than this, the back side seats can be folded down to increase the luggage capacity to 980 liters. The vehicle is available in two styles, LT and LS. All the vehicles of Aveo5 come with several comfort and safety measures. The safety features include air bags for both driver and the passengers, and wind screen wipers that can be operated at various speeds.
The sound system in the vehicle is provided with MP3 capable inputs and a radio with different auxiliary inputs.
The standard model in Aveo LS comes with 15 inches wheels made of aluminum, replacing with the standard 14 inches rims. The other features in the vehicle are keyless remote entry, on board computer, ABS brakes and a beige trim at the interior side. The ABS brakes are provided optionally, according to the need of the customer.
The vehicle is provided with 1.4.14 FWD engine and powered with 101 horse powers. The vehicle produces a torque of 131 Nm. The style of the body is provided with hatch back 5 doors allowing the maximum speed of 167 to 176 Kilo meters per Hour.
Chevrolet Aveo also called as Daewoo Kalos is an automobile produced by GM Daewoo, which is a product of General Motors, South Korea. The vehicle is marketed in more than 120 countries. The vehicle is provided in two styles called T250 and T200. The meaning of the word Kalos in the Greek language is beautiful and hence it is named as Daewoo Kalos, Daewoo being the name of the company.
The style of the body is provided in three kinds, 4 door sedan, 5 door hatchback and 3 door hatchback and has the transmission speeds of 4 speed automatic and 5 speed manual.
The original model of Daewoo Kalos was manufactured and released in the year 2002, based on the new platform T200, which replaced T100 or Daewoo Lanos. Kalos was the first vehicle from the Daewoo and later taken over by the General Motors. The production of Kalos started in the year 2002 with the review shown at auto show that held in the month of April, 2002, in Geneva. Another concept vehicle from the house of Chevrolet happens to be the Aveo Xtreme, but there aren’t too many updates on the Xtreme yet.
