The Mustang from the Ford Motor Company hit the roads in the year 1960 for the first time and its production has been carried out in various generations. The model released in the year 2005 was a predecessor to the fourth generation Ford Mustang. The vehicle has its assembly plant at the Flat Rock, Michigan. The vehicle comes in 2-door coupe as well as the 2-door convertible body styles.

The 2010 Mustang is designed by Doug Gaffka, who also designed the previous Mustang model during 2008-2009. The model comes with a really muscular body accompanied by fine aero dynamics and high performance.

The model was designed based on the Ford D2C platform with the FR layout. The vehicle was designed by Sid Ramnarace, for the vehicle released in the year 2005 and by the Doug Gaffka for the vehicles released in the year 2008 and 2009 and the 2010 Mustang.

The Mustang model was introduced at North American International Auto Show in the year 2004 with the code name “S-197”. The vehicle was produced under the direction of Hau Thai Tang, a chief engineer and Sid Ramnarace, exterior style designer. All the current Mustang models use an independent Macpherson strut suspension at the front side, along with the lower control arms in the L-shape. The suspension at the rear side of the vehicle utilizes three links with a Panhard rod this controls the lateral movements and controls the verticals.

• AM / FM stereo with CD player.

The Mustang released in the year 2006 offered Pony package, which include a suspension derived from the model Mustang GT, wider tires, 17 inch wheels, grille with fog lamps, rear deck spoiler and the door emblems and stripping. The Mustang GT contains an aluminum 4.6 liter 3 valve SOHC V8 modular engine. The engine produces 224 kilo watts of power at the speed of 5750 rotations per minute and torque of 320 lb ft at the speed of 4500 rotations per minute. The GT Mustang is capable of performing quarter mile in just 13.5 seconds and accelerates from 0 miles per hour to 60 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds.

Ford introduced the special GT Mustang model in the year 2007 resembling the original model of 1968 under the name of California Special Mustang. This contained a side scoops and the non functional hood, exhaust tips, engine cover and a unique vinyl striping.

The new Mustang was redesigned and is expected to release in the year 2010. The model was displayed at an international auto show held in Los Angeles on 18th of November, 2008. The 2010 Mustang is designed by revising the features of 2005- 2009 models.
