Welcome the all new 2010 NSX!

The NSX hit the roads for the first time in the year 1990 and dropped its production in 2005. The model falls under the category of sports car. The NSX model was produced by the Honda Motor Company, and it some of the international markets, it is also called as the Acura NSX. The vehicle was assembled at the Takanezawa R and D plant, in Tochigi, Japan during the period 1990 to 2004 and at Suzuka R and D plant in Suzuka, Japan during the period 2004 to 2005.

The early NSX was available in the 2-door coupe body style. The engine was transversely mounted at the middle and was provided with the rear wheel drive. It was offered two different engines namely, 2977 C30A V6 engine that produces 201 kilo watts of power and the 210 lb ft of torque and the 3179 cc C32B V6 engine that produces 216 kilo watts of power and torque of 224 lb ft. Later on, the Honda NSX was made available in 4-speed automatic and the 5 and 6 speed manual transmissions.

The vehicle had the wheel base of 2530 mm. The length of the model varied over the years, it was 4405 mm for the vehicles produced during the period 1991 to 1993 and was 4425 mm for the vehicles produced during the period 1994 to 2005. The width and the height of the vehicle were 1810 mm and 1170 mm respectively. The curb weight of the body was 1340 kilo grams and had the fuel capacity of 18.50 US gallons.

The Honda NSX also known as the Acura NSX in the countries of Hong Kong and the North America, produced by the Japanese automaker, Honda. The NSX was the first model to incorporate the aluminum chassis, suspension and body equipped with aluminum alloy frame. The over all weight of the body was reduced by 200 kilo grams, as the body was produced with aluminum. The variable valve timing system was used in the NSX for the first time in the United States.

The NSX model was first displayed at an auto show held in Chicago under the name of NS-X in the month of February, 1989 and later at the Tokyo Motor Show in the month of October, 1989. Before the release of the model the Honda Motors renamed the vehicle as NSX from NS- X. The Honda NSX was sold in the year 1990 in Japan and in the year 1991 in the countries of North America and Hong Kong under the brand Acura.

In the year 2005, the Honda NSX sales went down and it was hardly sold in hundreds, worldwide. The Honda Motors Company considered that continuing NSX was not beneficial, which costs very high for its production and ended its production in the year 2005. As a result, they started producing a new model with front V10 engine.

Now, the NSX is back in action to rock the city roads all around the world. The design has been given a facelift, and the interiors have also been revamped too. With the V10 engine the 2010 NSX will be a killer machine for sure - so keep an eye on its release!
